Private Messaging Options

Shal,
I cant seem to find Dick's group (FTDX-101MP)
The name indicates a model of Amatuer Radio (Ham Radio) and the DX is usually short for Distance.
I would personally be interested in joining this club, but there is no hint of it anywhere, and his name is not hyperlinked for private messaging.
Please advise
Thanks

There are several ways to send someone a private message.

a) If your group subscription is set to Individual Emails, the From: address of each message should contain the post-er's email address. This is not available using a Digest.
b) If the post-er has created a group profile and made it public, you go to his profile and click on the blue "Email" button.
c) If the group allows private replies, you should be able to access "reply to sender" via a link in the message footer (again, this requires Individual Email message delivery). Failing that, you can use the grey "private" button at the bottom right of the online message editor.

In your case, I suggest you to go?/g/GroupManagersForum/message/16422, click Reply, then click on the grey "Private" button at bottom right to initiate an off-group conversation.
?
Hope this helps,
Bruce

P.S. As this discussion really has no bearing on file uploading, I'm going to split it into a new topic.

It is (this reply is sent from a digest). Perhaps it's been hidden by
some setting in your email reader.
