Does a member who has been "removed" get a notification?
#membership
#membernotices

As a list admin, if I click through on a member's profile and scroll down to "remove" them from the list, does the member get an email notification automatically from groups.io? We have not set up a "goodbye" message via the templates provided so there is no default message on our side, but I just want to know if groups.io sends a message to the person like "you have been removed from xx list".
I'm assuming and hoping that the answer is that I can remove a person without generating a notification to them. |

If you have neither of those, you should be fine. On the Main Help Page, under the section entitled,?Specific notices and their usage?is the following:
Removed MemberSent automatically when a member is removed from the group. The notice marked "active" is the one sent; if no notice is active, none is sent. --Brian?-?Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1809, Build 17763?? ? ? ?Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?~ George Santayana |
