I have invited someone to join one of my groups but every time she tries to accept the invitation I get the following message in the Activity log.
Non-member .........@... attempted to send message "Invitation to join the [email protected] group" via email

What are we doing wrong?? ?I've had no problem with any of the others that have been invited to join.

This indicates that her reply to the Invitation went to the group's posting address, rather than the +accept address.

What are we doing wrong??

You, nothing.

Her, probably nothing.

If she is doing nothing more than using the Reply feature in her email interface, then the problem is that she's using a defective email interface -- it is ignoring the Reply-To header field, and sending her acceptance to the From (group's posting) address. This has cropped up before, especially with mobile interfaces.

If it is convenient for her, she should try accepting the invitation using an email interface on a different device. Or she may try using the link inside the invitation instead of replying to the invitation.

By the way, if your group has its Reply To set to "Group", she may find that her attempts to reply to group postings using this device likewise go awry - either to the sender only or to an invalid email address. For the same reason.
