Groups.io site updates #changelog

Hi all,

This week's change log:

Feel free to reply to this topic if you'd like to comment on the
changes. Or better yet, if you expect a lot of discussion start a new
topic (or rejoin an existing one) about a specific change.

NEW: New /feed page for testing.

Kind of a list of activity summaries, organized by group. Distinct from the groups.io home page, which has a list of one's groups, or the /topics page which shows messages from all of your subscriptions in a single list.
/topics

CHANGE: Wording change in bounce probe message.
Thanks Samuel, assuming you reported it to support:

BUGFIX: 'Save and send to group' didn't work for a moderator editing a
message in a subgroup.
Oh! So the bug was in a subgroup. No one guessed it would be subgroup versus primary group that made the difference.

Comments about these are welcome:

SYSADMIN: Switched to using our own DNS resolver/cache because
Linode's DNS resolver stopped working for some domains.
API: Misc updates.
NEW: For cancelled events, include them in the ICS feeds, but set
their status to CANCELLED.
CHANGE: When viewing an event with an RSVP, don't display the cancel
event button if no one has RSVPed yet.
NEW: Added an addition Italian language quote separator.
CHANGE: Default calendar view on mobile is now the list view.
NEW: Add an additional French language quote separator.
NEW: When viewing topics/searching by hashtag, show the hashtag
description at the top of the page.
NEW: Added subgroupnames parameter to the /directadd API endpoint, to
compliment the subgroupids parameter.
BUGFIX: When using the /directadd API endpoint, the wrong domain was
used when composing the direct add notification emails.

Please call out any you find significant.

Shal, what is this change supposed to do?
Is it supposed to change the standard English "On Sun, Mar 10, 2019 at 12:22 PM, Marina wrote:" to the Italian wording?

Thanks,
Marina

The Italian and French quote separators are used so that they will be properly seen as quotes within a message.? When a French Canadian member replies on my groups, their quote begins with Le [day][month][year] in French. (Similar for Italian)? Up until now, they weren't treated as a quote, so the whole thing was seen when reading online instead of being hidden in the ellipse.

Thank you, Duane. I thought that, when replying to a message and quoting the text, the standard quote (On... Marina wrote... etc.) would be replaced by the Italian equivalent.

Best,
Marina
