¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIs there a way to prevent the automatic appearance of #cal-notice on the home page every time a cal notice was generated? I find it quite bothersome to have to check on the homepage regularly, then click and delete each notice individually. That the #cal-notice listing side does not refresh each time one of the notices is deleted but instead jumps to the messages side, makes it even more circumstantial. Victoria |
I'm not sure what your question is, but I'll give some information that has helped me.
On each calendar event, at the bottom, there is a checkbox for "Send Notice To Group When Event Happens".? If you don't check that, no notice is sent.? Unfortunately, there's no way to disable notices, so if the person making the entry checks that box, a notice will be sent.? To avoid some of this, I've changed the hashtag #cal-notice to be moderated so that I can delete the message before it hits the group.? We don't normally use this tag since most of our events are many miles away and it would be too late to attend when it happens.? I'm also moderating the #cal-invite and #cal-reminder tags for 'safety'. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýDuane, I'm not sure what your question is, but I'll give some information that has helped me. ? So the only way to send these regular notices is to have them sent out of the calender function, and yes, they must appear in the messages. It?s just cumbersome to always have to delete these notices from the cover page. ? Victoria |

A "disable hashtags" group setting in the Message Policies section would be a good suggestion for beta. Regards, Bruce? -- The system Help is your friend.??/static/help |
