Pending Membership Request - Pending Member Has Disppeared #membership

Have a question:? This has happened before a couple of times, and just happened again, this morning.? I see in my Inbox that I have a pending membership request to one of my lists.? I click on the link in the email that says, "View Pending Member".? Instead of being taken to the Pending member's page, I get taken to the main Membership page.? So, I thought maybe one of my list mods had approved the membership, but, the pending person is not listed in the Membership section.? In the Activity Log, the only activity I can find for this person, is the "Applied for Membership Via Web" activity.? No approval.? What would make this pending member just disappear?? There is no explanation in the Activity Log for any further action by this person or by any list mods.? Can a pending person retract a membership request?? If so, shouldn't we see that action in the Activity Log (like we see a Pending Membership activity?)

Patty, Can a pending person retract a membership request?? Yes, by unsubscribing. If so, shouldn't we see that action in the Activity Log (like we see a Pending Membership activity?) Yes you should. There have been reports that if a user deletes their Groups.io account that doesn't get logged in any group's Member Activity log, even though it effectively unsubscribes the user from all groups.
