we have a club member we are trying to get subscribed to IO from yahoo................when she tries to subscribe to our IO list she gets a bounce message back saying "spam" - how might she fix that??? is there any way I as owner can get around that?? there is no link in the email back to her from IO with a link to override that - as there is in a typical "you've spammed us, hence you're bounced off the list" - 'but if this is in error, click this link to be resubscribed.......

It sounds like maybe her email is being caught in the relatively new scanning feature, .? It would depend on what all is included in her email, such as signatures with links.? You should be able to check the activity log for your group to see if this is what's happening.? If you have her subscribe using the web site, or at least create an account, it may help.

The bounce message almost certainly says far more than just "spam." If Duane's suggestion doesn't work, then posting the COMPLETE rejection notice here will make it much easier to help you.

If she's trying to send a message to your group's +subscribe address, Duane's suggestion to have her try joining from your group's home page (on the web site) might sidestep the problem.

Another thing you could try is sending her an Invitation to the group. She can accept the invitation either by replying to it via email, or by clicking on a link to the web site. Either might work.
