Create a file with hyperlinks?

I am wondering if it¡¯s possible to create a file that contains hyperlinks in it.
I have tried and the link does not remain clickable. It¡¯s entirely possible I am not doing it correctly.
We are a large quilting group and previously had a file we could access with direct links to site with?
tutorials and patterns.?
Is it possible to create such a file on IO?
thanks so much

The Links functionality of Yahoo Groups does not exist as such. If you had a Links section in Y!G, those same links should have been transferred; and will appear as a Database table, which does pretty much the same thing.

Or you might want a wiki page. The wiki editor is capable of creating hyperlinks to any web resource using the "insert/edit link" item on the toolbar. You can do the same with your group's home page, if you want.

You can also insert links into a message using the message editor. If you subsequently make that message "sticky," it will appear at the top of all the messages online and remain there, readily available.

If you want to place an HTML file with resource links in the Files area, you will have to create that with an HTML editor on your PC and upload it to your group.

Or I could be totally misunderstanding you. More information, please!

Bruce, I don¡¯t think you are misunderstanding....that¡¯s exactly the info I was looking for and I appreciate your help so much.
we didn¡¯t transfer the links from yahoo because too many of them were old and outdated.?
I think I¡¯ll experment using a wiki.
this group is great! You are all very knowledgeable and helpful to those of us who are just starting.

Have you tried putting the info in a PDF file containing clickable links?
