Transfer Group from Yahoo

 

I am in the process of transferring one of my Yahoo groups to Groups.io.? I did the Invite to "[email protected]".? The directions say it could take a couple days for the acceptance and e-mail request to be monitor, but after about four days and hearing nothing, I tried again.? It's been another two days and still nothing.? Is there a way to get in touch with whoever is supposed to handle that on Groups.io's end so I can get it moving along?

In case they happen to see this message, the group is named "TreadleOn Pony Express".

If you received the automated notice that your invitation was received, all you can do is wait for your turn.? The worse YG! gets, the more groups that try to transfer.? We don't know for sure what the wait time is, but it has been as short as 1 day and as long as 3 weeks.? Members here are other site users and as far as we know, no one from groups.io management monitors the group.

?The? more groups that join IO, it will free up server space on the?Y?groups and they will function better. Just my opinion. Ilene?

It can take up to a week or two depending on how many there are in the queue.? Be patient it will come.

I have done a few transfers and seen it take anywhere between 2 days and 2 weeks but Mark is working hard to keep up with the onslaught of those getting out of Yahoo to .?

The other day I read that there are more than ten million Ygroups. There?s a big job ahead if the lot of them decide to be transferred.
