I belong to four groups and am the owner of one of them.? A few days ago I could not get into any of them on my phone because my password was not accepted. As you know, the current password is not revealed in my profile.? I am using a password keeper so there is little chance I entered an incorrect pw. Nevertheless I followed all the steps for requesting a new password, getting the email link and going back in but it never worked and I got trapped in a loop of rejection. Any idea how to resolve this? Thanks

How about trying a different browser and then using Email Me A Link To Login if the password doesn't work?

answers I'm afraid, but ...
Are you the sole owner of
these groups? Might someone else (another owner)? have mistakenly
banned you from the group?
Do make sure that when
pasting, or whatever, from your password keeper that you don't have a stray
space appearing at the front. I have been caught out by that (a box
pre-populated with a single space) once or twice although I don't think it
has happened to me on groups.io

Remember that a login problem is at the account level, not the group level.?

I recently started using a VPN to connect to the internet. Several sites reported that my password was incorrect. I closed the VPN and I could easily log into the sites that were refusing my password.

I would contact that VPN's support about this since it clearly is
causing the problem.

Hi Emily,
have a look at the next topic in this group - ?Owner status changed“ - where Dan reports an almost identical problem. He eventually found out that his provider had made a software change, basically setting up an experimental VPN connection, which caused a loss of owner rights for some of his groups. I suggest you contact him to find out if you both maybe have the same provider.

Thank you all . Happily the suggestion to use another browser broke the circle of doom and I am now back in three of my four groups. I don't use a VPN so I didn't have to go that route.? Emmily?

I cannot locate the Admin function on our home page or anywhere.? I can't access our member list. My last access was. on January?7 and I changed nothing since. (This is a good reminder to?all to?build in some redundancy in case you also are locked out.) ?CAN ANYONE HELP ME?? I welcome all suggestions.

Your login cookie would have expired, so you'll need to log in again using the proper account.

First have you checked your spam folder?
Or have you changed email addresses recently?
Until you are logged in as owner your Admin functions will not show

Thank you Nivard.The link worked, but I can't log in as owner. ? The left panel always showed Admin but it's disappeared.? Similarly the Admin button at the bottom of the Home Page is missing.? I can log in only as a member. See 2 screenshots with Admin missing. Grateful for any ideas....

Make sure you check your spam folder. It may have arrived in there. And after you put the email address in, make sure you hit the send button.

I can access 2 of my 3?accounts but not as Owner or Admin. As my screen shot shows, Admin doesn't appear in the left side bar.

I have checked your group out and sent a message to the group owner, which should indicate the email address you need to use to sign in as owner
If you don't receive it check your spam folder

Try clicking the three bars at the bottom right of the screen vMaybe that will get you back to Admin
