Bill -- Well, not really. GMF often receives spam emails at our +owner address. We just ignore them.

For the record, IONOS is a legitimate web-hosting company based in Germany. Groups.io is not hosted by them, nor can I imagine that IONOS would provide any services for a mere 2 Euros.

The IONOS domain name is being used by hackers phishing to get your bank account information. I have several IONOS accounts and know what I order/pay for, so when these come in, I got whois.com and enter the first IP address of the sender (you have to go the full message headers to get that). Most of them are coming from out-of-country so there's no value in reporting the attemps, but those that are within the US (and probably Canada) are worth pursuing, i.e., reporting as spam/phishing to their domain provider (which is NOT Ionos) or blocking as a spammer.
