Hi there,

One of my group’s members was able to delete a message and topic. I thought I prevented this by checking Messaging Policies > Disable Editing Messages. The line under this option says, “Don’t allow members to edit their own messages.”

Why were they still able to delete things?

Members can ALWAYS delete any messages they've posted, regardless of group settings.? (If it happens to be the only message in a topic, the topic is also deleted.)? With the setting you have, they can't EDIT them.
