Group owner changed email address and forgot...
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYes, I did it.? I had two email addresses on my group and forgot to make the second one an owner before giving up my first address.? So now my group has no owner and I don¡¯t see a way to make my second (now only) one the owner. ? Is there someone who can help me? ? Smiles! Donna ? |

Odd! Groups.io does not let the last owner leave a group. Either there is someone else who is an owner (another of your email addresses or someone else). Or perhaps it didn't allow the removal. Double-check. Frances

Similar problem.
I changed the ISP. On the web went to a group where I was the owner, added the new address, made it an owner and deleted the old owner eMail address. Meant to do that will all the others but ALL other were gone. Problem with one particular group which did not have an other owner or moderator. Guessed it would not work but applied for membership with the new address. Since the owners address on file did not exist any message from GIO would disappear in the ether. No hardship with the rest of the groups as I sent direct eMails to the co-owners, moderators. Can anything be done about that one group?
