Re: Best way to back-up a message archive?
Maria, Not by itself. As Lena said, use the browser's File | Save As feature to save that page to a file on your computer. Store that file in a folder that is automatically sync'd to a cloud service.

Re: Best way to back-up a message archive?
Right-click the Download Archives button and choose "Save as...". The downloaded file is in "unix mailbox" format. You can open it in Thunderbird.

Re: Best way to back-up a message archive?
I was exploring that and see it opens the archive up as plain text (sort of?) in a browser page... is it supposed to download it to a file? (i'm using firefox). So, then when it's in the browser

You can download the message archive - in Settings. However it would be nice to automate this to save to Dropbox or the cloud. Frances

Hoping other group owners can help. What's the best way to keep local back-ups of one's group archive on a regular basis? Is there a way you do it via groups.io? or do you use something else to make

Doesn't work for me in either safari or Firefox. Could you try one of those? I had another search bug previously which Mark could g reproduce but was able, by a weird magical trial and error, to fix.
