What about Pinterest? That seems very photobased and it's free (I think). If you're concerned about privacy, they have something called "secret boards" which sounds like you can control who sees it.

wunder, That suggests to me that someone already created a group by that name, then deleted it. The name of a deleted group remains reserved indefinitely. You could write to [email protected] to see
