It doesn't matter what the files page says. Space is limited to *total files + photos*. For free groups, this limit is 1 GB. How big is the file that you're trying to upload? Do what Dwayne said...go

The "Files are Disabled" option takes away the Files option from the menu. So, it must not have been set that way if the original poster was able to access the files menu. -- Gerald

Problem solved I looked at Admin and found 225 Mb attachments, 680 Mb Photos, and 114 Mb for Files. Clearly I need to clean house. The Photos are the most fruitful. Next query is how to remove Photos

Go to Admin and the Settings. Towards the bottom of that you will see Files and then Permissions. If that shows "Files are disabled" you will have to choose another option. Lawrence
