Bruce, I should also "mention" that in groups.io, there is no systemwide account Actually there is. In the account's Profile there is the *User Name* field. The leading @ prefixed to the field hints

I should also "mention" that in groups.io, there is no systemwide account identifier outside of the user's email address. Sending a mention of the format "@username@..." is clumsy at best and
