Re: Tags in calendar
You can choose the Event color when creating it, but it defaults to a light blue.? I believe one person has a wiki page defining what the various colors mean on their group and asks members to use

Re: Tags in calendar
Yes. If you include a #hashtag in the Event Name field when creating a calendar event, it will then show up in the subject line of any associated notifications. If you allow regular members

Tags in calendar
Is it possible to add tags to calendar events, so different topics can be grouped and people can search for these specific tags? I can see there are colours but they are quite random, it's not like

Re: A website that uses the domain name of our group
To be clear, I would not include the words "groups" or "groups.io" ?in your website domain name. Mark Fletcher (or his company) owns @groups.io And it would be unwieldy and confusing. Not good

I would exercise caution here. Creating a similar-looking name is a favorite way for malware organizations to capture unsuspecting victims. They stand up a website that looks like the real thing, but

Re: A website that uses the domain name of our group
Were you thinking you would keep Groups.io as your discussion forum? With a link to your Group on your new website? Some others do that. You could certainly make them both very similar - for example:

Can¡¯t the name be similar, though, to make it obvious that it¡¯s related? Otto

Re: A website that uses the domain name of our group
No. A domain name must map to a single IP address; otherwise a nameserver lookup will return ambiguous results. Enterprise groups might be able to do something along these lines, but groups.io would
