If the TentecEagle group is only in IO than contact IO and ask your questions to them as to their policy for such cases. The group is under their jurisdiction .

We had a situation occur like this, a few years ago, where an owner had passed away. And the moderator of the group got promoted to owner. I believe, that you can request this to be done via groups.
