Re: Show quoted text option
I laughed, because I can't get people on my lists TO quote anything, so many replies lack context. Be careful what you wish for!

Re: Subscription is all messed up. #access
I am a bit puzzled - so you use different email addresses for different groups? Well, first of all, since you can get online to this group, go to the top right corner where you will see a username.

Re: Moderating attachments from individual user
You can raise it again in Beta - https://beta.groups.io/g/main No one in management here in this peer-to-peer help group. In Beta, I see a thread on more granular permissions. Perhaps the right topic

Re: Moderating attachments from individual user
Thanks for confirming that this capability does not currently exist. I tried to be clear that the question was regarding moderation of attachments for an individual, not for everyone. I'm aware that

Re: Show quoted text option
It isn't, because quote often is necessary to know what the message is about. However, you can have a group-rule that top-posting/TOFU is not allowed. This used to be established netiquette Not quite.

Re: Merging groups
I think Frances was asking how many total messages are in the message archives in each group? There are a few approaches you could take to combining the groups and spinning one into a wilderness

Moderating attachments from individual user
How easy and more broadly useful would it be to add an additional user-based moderation function that applies to attachments? That is, an individual user's postings would only be subject to moderation

Re: Merging groups
We use Incredimail and both groups get The same messages daily. About 10 - 15 messages a day but all the same. So it would be about 15 messages in all a day. Hope that makes sense.

You may be able to get Groups.io to do that, but it will cost a year of Premium, at minimum. Duane -- Lots of detailed information can be found in the Owners Manual (

Re: Merging groups
There isn't an easy way, I don't think. Perhaps there is a workaround. Can you tell us how many messages, how established the groups are? Are there a lot of messages in both? You can certainly rename
