You can cancel immediately after upgrading (as you found out.)? You don't have to wait until the end. Groups.io doesn't work that way.? If you have removed your payment method before the next bill

In service to adding to the knowledge of this group: When I chose that last option, the Billing page now shows: - Under Current Plan it says "Preminum Monthly" and there's a "Cancel Downgrade" button.

Where do you see that option? Please post the link. I only see starting a new group with a trial of premium. I don't believe the option you are talking about exists any longer.

The Help says you can't upgrade a basic group to premium for a month's trial. You can start a new group with a trial as premium. See the note:

If you upgrade to monthly billing, you're going to continue being billed until you cancel. So just don't cancel. Pete
