Bruce: I logged out of the Slack sync with my personal email address and I was able to log in to the Slack service-sync with the club email alias. The club email alias is just another email address;

Making something like this easy to do will also make it easy to do by mistake. If implemented, expect an increase bug reports from folks who mute every active topic and then wonder why they aren't

Have her look at the Home button of the group. Is a baby-blue "Mod" tag present? If it's not there, she isn't logged in correctly. If it is, someone has changed her permissions. Regards, Bruce Check

What Frances is saying is that she might have two accounts but only one set as moderator. If she logs in with a non-moderator account that is also a member of this same group, she won't be able to so
