The group description is editable - and re-editable! It is suggested that if your group is going to be in the list of groups (Find or Create a Group), make your description count.

The only time I've seen something like that, the poster deleted the original message.? I'd bet that if you check the Activity log, you'll see that's what they did.? If not, it should still give you
