Jim, The Pending page is for pending messages, not pending members. The Members page is the correct place to find pending members, as you discovered. They can't. As Bruce said, check the email address

It is possible to unsubscribe while still in Pending. Perhaps this person wasn't willing to comply with whatever stipulations you may have placed in your Pending Subscription notice. Different email

This seems odd.? Someone applied to be a member of my group via the web, and as owner I got a "Subscription Approval Needed" email. However nothing at all appears in Admin->Pending. In Admin->Members
