I won't be using the easy transfer so that's why I will keep them separate. I plan to make the subgroup announcements only to prevent adding to the old messages. Thanks. Donald

There seem to be mixed results with the group-archiver tool, PGO definitely works very nicely, thank you, and will export your member list to CSV; you will need moderator (at least) access to your Y!
