No one ever responded to this, and I see this is still not working properly in Groups.io. I prefer to receive group discussions via RSS feed rather than email, as the Thunderbird client handles both

There is no standard message that is sent out monthly. That is up to each group to set up. Edit your Monthly Reminder notice in Member Notices. Your group guidelines also goes on your home page left
