You can do what I did. All the groups where I belong to share some common interest. So I made a new group at groups.io to hold the groups together. Then I setup a subgroup for the groups in question.

We were in a similar situation. The solution is to create one group and make all the others subgroups of the first one. The others will be covered under the fee for the first.
