Is there a simple, 1., 2. 3., .....? set of instructions for neophyte users to add a group signature? I don't mean "go to your subscription" type instructions as in "help."? I mean "simpleton."

The way I understand it, if the email is not used to send or receive messages, said email will get disabled. So if they are reading the group online and not using the mail to send or receive anything
