Mick, As Duane mentioned, Groups.io is aware of GDPR (the question was raised well before May) and has had legal review. Groups.io did modify its privacy policy to be in conformance.

Brooke, In short: not what you're looking for. It causes the group's footers to be put in a separate message part in the outbound email. Message parts are sections of a MIME-structured email body.
