Yes, you can make this behavior a group default...but you can't force your subscribers to keep it. Go to Admin>Settings and click the Default Sub Settings button at the top.?Examine the Message

Yes there is. Find the message for deletion within the Topic thread; click on the blue *More* tab (the one with 3 horizontal lines beside it) and click on *Delete Message* , which has a dustbin*
