Check things like spam folders.?I just tested it on a free group for an invite to a gmail address and it took 6 seconds from when I clicked send for the invite to show up. ? -- Gerald

Hi I just tested it and it works fine for me. Did it actually send? Check Sent Invitations.? Or is it an address you have added in as an email alias? Of course, it could have been marked as spam.

I actually don't think that's true at all. I'm pretty sure that even if you use a 'strange' computer, groups.io would still send an email to your registered email address.

Ilene/Sugar -- The above statement is not true. You can change your group name, and all the content (including the messages) will still be there. What happens is that LINKS that you may have created

I have no idea if you will get notification I assume so But the IO pages say that your messages?will not be saved when it goes to a new URL ? Why don't you just open up a New?Group with the name
