Settings question
Hi,? this is showing my ignorance but I'm not sure what the following means. It is located in both the Owner and Moderator notifications section of settings. Email when someone reports a message.

No, subgroups would be subgroup[at]mygroup.groups.io? The main group becomes main[at]mygroup.groups.io (unless you change main to something else), but can still be accessed via email using

If it remains unchanged, please explain the changes others described and why there are problems. Are you saying when a subgroup is created that the main group remains unchanged: mygroup[at]groups.io

In Admin: Members go to that Moderator's Notifications and uncheck: Email when there are members needing approval this will allow that Moderator to be unaware of subscription/membership requests. Good

The act of creating a subgroup changes the way groups.io addresses your primary group...your group becomes a subdomain of groups.io. Thus mygroup[at]groups.io?automagically becomes

Gilly, You said the messages were coming in under your name - implying that your email address was used. If you yourself were not moderated at the time that's how they got through. Groups.io's

Gavin, It can take a bit for the new DNS entries to propagate into your browser. They are likely cached by your ISP, possibly by your home router, by your computer OS, and perhaps the browser as well.

Hi, I created a group - all fine. I then went to create subgroups and now I cant access the either group (main or sub). I get the "This site can't be reached" error window on chrome. Any ideas?
