My advice is to Leave That Group - NOW and forever.? The owner/moderators set the "tone" of the group.? Clearly that group is not suited to you. - Jim B.

I should also "mention" that in groups.io, there is no systemwide account identifier outside of the user's email address. Sending a mention of the format "@username@..." is clumsy at best and

You should also be sure the "no email" option is even available to your subscribers. Go to Admin->Settings->Message Policies and make sure "Disable no email" is NOT checked. Bruce -- The system Help
