Re: Rename Group didn't work
Good day;
I would like to change the name of my .io group to reflect the new model radios that appear, which fall into the SDR (radio) category; If I do change the NAME of the user group: - Will the users still receive the previously set up emails from the group with no interaction or update needed?? (I am assuming this is the case.) - Will the users need to change the bookmarked URL to reflect the new user group name, or is this somehow accommodated automatically? The instructions have been viewed, but are not entirely clear on these items... Thank you from Mike, K0JTA |

It very well could be. Free groups are limited to 1 GB of server storage (see?/static/pricing?).? Large Yahoo groups may have more than that in stored files and photos.?If so, the transfer agent will stop your transfer and send you an email asking you what you want to do. The first thing I would do is go to Yahoo and check your file and photo allocations. If it looks like you could be over the limit, look for this email in your inbox and/or follow up with support. Hope this helps, Bruce |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI made the transfer email a moderator hours after they accepted my invite. They've now been a moderator in my group for over two weeks. And still I get the message every time I try to hit the "go ahead with transfer' button. As well, when I look at the pending transfers, the other four say "completed'. These two say they are waiting on action from me. Having already tried to go ahead a dozen times or more, maybe this is an issue for support? Thanks! You are looking on your Yahoo group, right?? That's shown in step 4 of /yahootransfer

Re: Accessibility Features of Groups.io
Unless you are an owner of the group, you will need to have the proper permission set for your account to access the complete list.? If you have that, you can go to Admin > Members, then select the Download button at the top.? That will open the list on screen as raw data in CSV format.? You can then save it to a file to be opened in a spreadsheet program such as Excel or LO Calc.
Mark mentioned on the beta group a couple of days ago that he's working on a full group export feature that he hopes to launch soon. May the wording should be changed to include mention that [email protected] is to be made a
moderator of "your Yahoo
group".?
OK,

Accessibility Features of Groups.io
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi all.? I am a blind moderator of the [email protected] list, and I¡¯m not finding a way to list/download the entire members list.? The Directory only shows me 3 of the 209 members, and no download or expansion button shows up so that I can get at the rest of the list.? Does anyone know well how to get keyboard access to such features?? As a screen reader user I have absolutely no access to the mouse.? Any help will be appreciated.? ? Thx, Albert ? *** ? Albert A. Now if I could figure out how to stop Yahoo from sending our outdated guidelines, lol.Well Nancy, naturally you have to go to Y* and adjust them. Go Management/ Control Panel/ Notifications and I believe the lead welcome and other scheduled emails are there. Disable or delete them. I personally don't use either with a high-focus group that doesn't need 'reminders', regards davew |
Re: error when beginning transfer
I haven¡¯t been able to get that far. I try to invite [email protected] to my group and I get an invalid email address error. It can¡¯t be this hard, can it?

I've seen this for over two weeks. I had four groups transfer so easily, but the las two have done this. I don't know if I should contact support or delete my requests and start over. If I do that, does anyone know if I should unsub the transfer email, too?
?
Thanks!

Re: Bounced Emails
Go to Admin->Members, find and open his subscriber record, and check his Email Delivery History (button at the top of the page). That should show which message(s) were bouncing and along with an explanatory error code. Mail can bounce for any number of reasons. More information on this than you'll probably ever want to know can be found in the system help (/static/help#bouncing). If his service provider is truly bouncing incoming email because his inbox is full, the only (and obvious) fix is to have him delete some messages.?
I have no explanation as to why he might be receiving dupes. Hope this helps, Bruce |
