The footer is determined by whether the message is HTML or plain text.? You can force it to the HTML model by going to the settings page and choosing Force HTML Emails in the Message Policies

From my Mod: 1) She is writing from the group 2) Yes the blue Mod is there 3) She only has one email address attached to iogroups and only uses that one.

Well, modifying settings sounds like looking for something under Mail/Preferences. But confess I do not see an HTML vs. Text choice anywhere. Where would I find such a thing in Mac Mail? Any help

My mods confirmed that when the group is closed for two days, they use Announcements Only. So here I have one of the Mods who is definitely shown as a Mod, and shown to be able to post at any time,
