Trying to Direct Add a former list member

A member of my group was removed by me in mid January. I am now trying to Direct Add her back into the members list but keep getting an error message

Can't change my Group Email Address name

I've been trying to figure this out on my own (I've read through the manual more than once), but I hit a new wrinkle today, so need help.
?
Background: I have a Legacy account for a defunct group and wanted to use it for my 4-H club, which is very small (10 families) but still needs the wiki, photos, and the other features. So, I changed the "Group Email Address" name to EastHills4H, which worked (yay!) but silly me forgot to put in the "s", which means my group is EastHill4H. Subtle but confusing.?

I have been changing it to the correct name for a few weeks now to no avail (the box stays red and a second try gives me "group doesn't exist"). So today I decided to pay for a brand new group (so I can use the Legacy group for something else) with the correct name (we have to raise all of our money but our free Meetup group is un-usable at this point). But when I put in the correct EastHills4H, it says that name is taken! I have a feeling my repeated attempts to change the name caused a database error somewhere, but can anyone help? I'm sorry if my repeated efforts to change the name caused the problem, I did wait in between tries.

Although you can create as many polls as you want, there is no questionnaire feature.

I just did a quick Message search in GMF on "print database". This subject has come up quite a lot in the past, e.g.

There has never been a Print function - though often requested. The solution, as Andy has pointed out, is to Download as .CSV and import/print in your favourite spreadsheet.
BTW, always worth: - checking the manuals, and
- searching the Message archive
before posting a question - there's usually a similar query (and answer) that someone has posted in the past. Avoids asking the same question over and over!

Since July 1 this option seems to have been disabled. ?I reported it to Mark but have not had a reply except to tell me how to find where to access it. ?I already knew the procedure and I can access it but the option to DOWNLOAD is no longer available.
?
I need this as it is essential for reporting to my Charity Committee.
?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have never used it for Groups.io, you need to reply to the official email, verifying your account.
You should look at the subscription and activity for that email account in Admin, Members. See if it says NC in pink. It means not confirmed.

If that isn't the problem, I wonder whether you need to do something with Yahoo, like log into your Yahoo account to make sure it is okay.?

Laurie, go on iCloud (the email service you are using) and check there.

And check in Activity in Admin.?
Even if you are not an owner or moderator with privileges, you can check your activity in Subscription. However more data available in Admin, Members, and then use dropdown menu.?
