I believe that's a FB group, not a page, since it asks me to sign in.? I'm not very familiar with FB though.

If you can create an account that is also a moderator you are halfway there.

Backup your membership list, files, and databases to your computer, for a start. Your photos as well, if you have room. To move to groups. io you need to make it a moderator, and I think that takes an owner. I believe you can upload from your computer, however. Re: Attachments
Sharon,
How do you?set your Groups.io group to no attachments?? I don't see that option under settings, and it looks like the default (only?) option is to allow attachments., I'm just beginning the transition of a 750-member group from Yahoo Groups to Groups.io and am trying to understand attachment options.? Our group has many yachts at? sea or in locations where bandwidth is severely limited, so a no-attachment policy (as we have on YG) is what we need. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks, Milt |

To save a bit of time you can go to the "Members" pull down menu at the top of the Members list page and select "Bouncing". This will display all of the Bouncing or Bounced members in your group so you don't have to scroll through the entire list.

If you go to the group home page instead, then click on Messages on the left menu, it will remember which one you had selected.? In this case, having a bookmark to the home page (or the view page while Messages is selected) would get around the problem.? That's a known bug. Stop sending the invite. It IS getting through. It's the error message that's false. ;p On Thu, Feb 8, 2018 at 8:20 AM, Group Moderator via Groups.Io <groupmoderator3@...> wrote: I tried sending an invite from my YG group to a new email address (one of my extras) and despite hitting "invite" several times, the invite did not come through. Weekly I go to members and scroll through the members list. When I come across a B (bouncer) I click on that person, page down to the bottom and click to send a bouncing probe.?
When I first started there were many blue Bs, today 1 blue and 1 red. I copied the email addy and am sending her an email, since it¡¯s a name I recognize I¡¯ll also ask group members if she¡¯s changed her email. (She was on full digest). Nancy |
There's not currently a list of hashtags on the Event entry page.? You can add a hashtag in the Event Name, but would need to know which ones are available, unless you have your group set to allow everyone to create them (Only Moderators Can Create Hashtags is NOT selected on the settings page.)? A quick search of the TODO list, , doesn't show anything similar.? You could suggest having the dropdown available as an addition on beta@.

ALL new users are moderated in your group, including you. Go into your settings and check the number (1, 2, 3, or 4) in the "new users moderated" setting. That is the number of posts from each member that need to be approved before they are unmoderated.?

You could try looking in the Activity log for entries of 'Edited group'.? It won't tell you what was changed, but will give you a date and time that might jog your memory.
