Re: Temporary Owner
As francis said... why leave and rejoin using a different address? In fact, why the apparent rush to stand down as owner? If owner appointees are inexperienced they are likely to need active guidance,

Re: Temporary Owner
As long as there is an owner, you can unsubscribe. But why not just change your status ((demote yourself) and your preferences, and your email address? Why bother unsubscribing?

Re: Posting an Owner message to the group (was: Changing Owner to Administrator)
Are you using a browser bookmark? If so, it will contain the original query string. If that's what you're doing, edit the existing bookmark. Hope this helps, Bruce Check out the groups.io Help Center

Re: Free group - no files section is that right?
None of us removed it, that was done by GIO management on August 24, 2020 for groups created after that date.? You could still store files and photos, but they'd need to be sent as attachments. Duane

Free group - no files section is that right?
Basic groups always used to have a files section, when did you guys remove that.? Surely it's not too much to ask within the 1G storage limit? David

Re: Posting an Owner message to the group (was: Changing Owner to Administrator)

Some in-message photos do not display
A member of one of my premium groups sent a message that includes ten photos. Six of the photos display properly when I click on their thumbnails. The other four go to a "400 Bad Request" page.

I agree. In the meantime, I use the other ways to read it and then my browser's search. View the manual as a single page. - searchable with browser; handy because it gives a specific URL for posting
