If you want to follow up you're supposed to reply to that email, typing any additional information above the line in the message body. Opening a second ticket for the same issue could be considered annoying behavior on Mark's end. I'm not aware of any other mechanism.? Question re support request status
There seems to be a lot of variability in how soon I substantively hear back after submitting a support request. A month ago, I got pretty quick responses. Recently, I get an auto reply with no content beyond a form acknowledgement. The group in question is a premium group.
Is there any way to check on the status of a support request (apart from submitting another support request)?? Thanks, Su |

First, that was me who just applied to your group, you can reject it if you want, I was going to leave anyway; I wanted to see how it's setup regarding new member apps. IMO you'd be better off creating and enabling a pending membership message that applicants have to answer (or no approval otherwise), and that will drastically cut down your spam/scam filtering work, as the large majority of those folks use bot software for their spamming/scamming, and you usually don't get back replies to the pending membership question, so they can bot-apply all they want, since they will never reply to the pending question email, no approval. ?You can then leave them on the pending queue until they are automatically-removed in 14 days (unless if you claim them) You can write the pending membership question email as such to where if one replies you'll be able to tell if it is a real person, and also whether they are legit or spammers. ?On all the groups I own & manage we have that and it rarely allows a spammer to get it. ?Here's an example of what I use: Hello and thank you for your interest in the Airliner Modelling Digest group! ([email protected])We only have a few basic rules, one of them is to hear from you before accepting your membership application, to make sure you are a legitimate person/modeller/hobby store/decal maker/researcher/etc, and not some bot or spammer! ?So please reply to this email and in a sentence or two, please let us know why you'd like to join our group.Thank you!The Group Admins & Mods?
And if their reply is not quite-clearcut and you suspect they may be legit, you can always send them a second email and ask them more group-specific questions, like which generator model they have, what's their setup, or anything else that will tell you pretty-much they are real and legit. |

What you just posted (above) shows you the amount that is due and the date. I wouldn't worry about it changing; there was a recent discussion here on GMF confirming that we are grandfathered in at our original rate unless in the interim we have initiated some change or lapse as I mentioned earlier. So I wouldn't worry too much about your renewal amount going up. It is very unlikely to change. Paul M. == |

Hackers and spammers can easily make themselves appear from any country they wish.? So can you.? It's called a VPN service.? The solution you think would help is worthless even if there was a feature in groups.io.? I use one often.? I find it quite helpful in purchasing airline tickets at reduced prices.? If you appear to be originating in Brazil (for example) you can sometimes get less expensive tickets than if you appear to be from the USA.? To find out more I've included a link to one of the many VPN's available today.?

Here in GMF it's not at all unusual to see a reply to a message that was originally posted months ago. This is in contrast to an exclusively online web forum, where all the messages are threaded right there in front of you (and everyone else). Or Reply at the bottom of the post online on your group?
Or are you using email to Reply All?

You asked about logs. Check to see where your message goes? Look in Admin, Members, your account, Activity. Or in Admin, Activity, Moderator Activity (since it is you as owner / moderator).

Group Renewal on October 19, 2020
I transferred my group, Heartmade Blessings, from Yahoo Groups on October 19, 2019, and paid $110 which included the transfer fee.? We are on the Premium Plan and a payment will be due October 19, 2020, for another year.? Will our $110 annual fee remain the same or will be now be billed $220 a year.? I saw on another site that since we transferred before October 22, 2019, we might be grandfathered at the $110 annual price.
Can you let me know please so I will know how to proceed with decisions regarding my Group, [email protected]
