Missing Daily Summary Deliveries

Hi, Checking their Email Delivery History shows that they last successfully received a summary on 1/4, and there are no bounces since then. We checked a couple of other users who are also getting Daily Summaries, and it looks like they haven't gotten one since 1/4 either. |
Re: User name
One use that our group found very helpful with Display Name is to see respondent's vote in the poll results.?

Could it only be the member's replies to the non-member?? If one of your members uses Reply All, that would send it to the group where it would be accepted if they're not moderated.? We've done some testing and what you describe can't happen, so there's another reason. Re: Not receiving copies of messages as owner
Problem continues!
Not going to Spam. I am set to individual messages and to Receive every message that is sent to [email protected]. Only one member is posting messages that I do not get, as Owner.. It is noticeable because he has been a frequent sinner in the past. As I said before I can put him on Moderation yet again. I suspect that he may have my e-mail blocked somehow so that no messages go to me. Would that do it? Thanks, Richard |

Not only that: all subsequent "Reply All" exchanges between group and non-group recipients were sent to everyone in our group. I didn't realize this was possible. You can keep non-members from posting to your group. See Admin>Settings>Message Policies, first checkbox. Uncheck the box and non-member messages will be rejected. This setting will not keep people who are already members from CC-ing the group when sending a message/reply to a non-member. But again, if you place such people on moderation then you can head off the side conversations before everything goes haywire. Bruce |

How to change the visibility of the archives / messages of my group
Hi,
Today my group is set with the " Archives are visible to subscribers only". I would like to switch to the "Archives are visible to anyone". Could you explain to me how to make this change of visibility of the archives ?? Thank you. Regards |
"Reply All" and "cc" issues
A member of my group recently sent an email message to someone not in our group, and cc-ed the message to our group, using our full groups.io address (something he has repeatedly been told not to do, but he persists!). The recipient replied using "Reply All", resulting in his reply being received by everyone in our group, even though the sender isn't in our group, and is not therefore authorised to post to our group. Not only that: all subsequent "Reply All" exchanges between group and non-group recipients were sent to everyone in our group. I didn't realize this was possible. This has raised security issues for us, which we clearly need to address internally. In the meantime I'd be grateful if someone on this forum could advise if it is possible to change the settings for our group to ensure we don't experience a similar breach in the future.
Many thanks Barry |

Re: navigating page numbers
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks Duane, Yes, I did know I could change it, just never got round to doing it, because I rarely do anything on the home page, all the messages come in to my mail program, and I send from there. Minor change to activity log -- moderation entries
On January 3, activity log entries changed slightly...it now gives a reason why each post goes into moderation.
For example, corresponding log entries in GMF now say "requires approval because the group is moderated." I guess we can assume if a message went into moderation for some other reason (e.g.: a hashtag setting, a subscriber's posting override, non-member sent the message, etc.) the entry would reflect that. ?
I do like this change but don't see any mention of it in beta.
?
FYI,
Bruce
