Re: Confirming no way for a moderator to edit a member's membership
I don¡¯t know why you weren¡¯t able to do this at Yahoo and you will be able to at Groups.io. I do it often. Perhaps the old moderator didn¡¯t give you enough privileges? But at Groups.io it will

Re: Confirming no way for a moderator to edit a member's membership
Ariel, First unlike Yahoo at groups.io you have one account per e-mail address. This means that the address where the mails arrive is the address used to sign into the account. This makes it easier

Re: Confirming no way for a moderator to edit a member's membership
Ariel, you can edit a member's delivery options, but you can't change their email address. That is fairly easy for a member to do. And a member can add an email alias so that a person can send from a

Confirming no way for a moderator to edit a member's membership
Hi folks, As a new moderator in an old Yahoo Group, I mistakenly assumed I could edit people's membership, and many asked me to do so, because they'd forgotten their Yahoo log-ins, or which email they

Re: account setup #membership
One way to do it would be to add a column/field to the members download/export.? No impact on the UI and the purpose is to filter/identify those not fully using the site anyway. Just a thought.?

Re: account setup #membership
Hi Toby, unfortunately I don't think there is a way to do this. This probably it's something that needs to be put in as a suggestion to the beta group.

Re: account setup #membership
Toby, I don't believe there is, directly. The group's Activity log, Member Activity tab, may contain evidence if they have taken some action "via web" - that would indicate that they must have logged

account setup #membership
Is there any way to know if a subscriber has setup a password and/or social account to login to the website?? Reason I ask is that I suspect many users just accept the invite and leave it at that.?

David, If their tendency is already to use email rather than the web, you could reinforce that in the customizable portion of the invite. I realize that's just side-stepping the issue you raise, but

Mark, No and no. The links are somewhat more compact in appearance if your messages are HTML formatted than if they are plain text. You can even use options in the Message Formatting section of the
