Global change to Subscription option?
We recently created a groups.io group with input from EYT. The Default Sub Setting, before the transfer, for Message Selection was Following Only. We realized later we wanted All Messages and changed.

You might contact the owner and ask if they were holding the name for your group. I did that for a couple groups. One group I did it for turned out to be an orphan and I'm trying to pull it together

I'd say that's unlikely.? I haven't had an account on Yahoo for 6 years and I got the email notifications they sent out to group owners, so anyone that's still an owner would have gotten them.? I

Owners coud send out "Special Notices" which often overrode "No Email" but not all Owners got the Yahoo notice. I didn't. Also, members didn't have a real 'need to know' much in advance. -John
