You can also send a "note to member" with just the group owner email address. (Just tested it.) Go to Members. Select the member. Go to +Owner Messages button. Click Reply. If Note To Member doesn't

If it is to reject a message, any owner or moderator can do that. It doesn't give the name of the sender or group email address of the actual sender - just the email address.
