I just did a quick test.? If it doesn't start with the http prefix, it won't be linkified.? Could be something else though.

Allene -- There is no Transfer Now page, nor is there an Update button on the status page ("Update Transfer", but not "Update"). So I really don't know what you're looking at.

So let's take this one step at a time.

Go here:??/yahootransfer
Look at bottom right, below View Existing Transfer Status. Do you see a link here with your group name?
?--- If no, you have not started a transfer yet. Go to?/g/GroupManagersForum/message/24431?and start over at step 2.1
--- If yes, click the link.
--- On the resulting page, there should be a pink status box at the top. Come back and reply to this message, telling us what it says.

In turn, I thought the member view would automatically default to Pending Approval if you had any subscriptions pending. Perhaps that isn't true on mobile.

I was able to locate the subscribers who are pending. I didn¡¯t realize that after hitting the Members tab the second time, it has a drop down menu that I can choose Pending Approval.

Thanks everyone!!!

Ah, that makes more sense.

Boldfacing or underlining that text would have helped it to stand out. As it was I skimmed over it too fast. My apologies.

Samuel,

The last known python script worked on YG until this past August.? Now nothing in the Python scripts are working.? I've been on Github and even communicated with 2 of the script authors.? At this time PGO is the only option now outside of a full transfer by GroupsIO.

FWIW I have just checked "my" group; it does not have subgroups but has a discrepancy of 3 for a total membership of >2200. (Soon to come down a bit when I have a clear out of "red bouncers")

Yep, if we can only train people ;-)

Actually this brings up a question... if I have defined a set of signature lines in my groups.io account, does that count as "signing my mails", so that anything I may have quoted above will always be retained? If so, we can certainly recommend that people do this. Get it done once, and no further "training" necessary.

It's not supposed to happen that anyone can be a member of a subgroup without being a member of the primary group.

But I am beyond guessing at this point. I suggest you contact support and ask ([email protected]). Please report back on what you find out.

If you are in a sub group, you are in the main group. This is by default.

Christos -- This is known as .

What you've provided in your message is as extensive as I've seen, but I'm sure the parameters can vary greatly depending on the destination page.

And is there anyway that defaults for these can be set, or they have to be entered each time? (in which case, bookmarking will take care of that)
Some of them (e.g.: items per page) are established in your account preferences (/account?page=prefs)...others by a sort order selection, start/end record identifiers, etc.

?For example, https://<groupURL>/members?p=joined,pending,,20,2,0,0

I figured out a few of these parameters but not sure on the rest, and what values can be used on them, and I'd like to find out so I can create bookmarks for quick use.
Before I create a bookmark (or paste a link into a message), I usually just remove any query string. But if you want to document them, have at it...the GMF wiki pages are editable by any subscriber. By sequentially clicking on the various column headers and/or manually changing entries you should be able to figure them out.

Bruce

No.? But, as you've discovered, many of them can be figured out by watching what appears as you select various display modes.? I do that on pages sometimes, just to see what happens.? You're welcome to start a Wiki page for the different 'views' around the site.? URL Parameters might be a good name.

You might also pick up more detail by exporting your member list to a csv and checking the header line at the top.

Member listing/directory URL parameter help #membership #customize

Hello folks,

Is there a Wiki or how-to link on how to modify the URL parameter setup on the member screens?? And is there anyway that defaults for these can be set, or they have to be entered each time? (in which case, bookmarking will take care of that)
?
For example, https://<groupURL>/members?p=joined,pending,,20,2,0,0

I figured out a few of these parameters but not sure on the rest, and what values can be used on them, and I'd like to find out so I can create bookmarks for quick use.

This is what I've figured out so far by trial and error and (developer) educated guess:

?p=P1,P2,P3,P4,P5,P6,P7

P1: List display sorting criteria; allowable values are joined (DateApplied), delivery (EmailDeliveryType), email (EmailAddy), fullname (DisplayName); if blank or none of these, default is joined (SortAscending-oldest first)

P2: Who to display; allowable values are: members, mods, pending, bouncing, banned, removed; if blank or none of these, default is members.

P3: ???

P4: How many entries/rows to display per page; no blank is allowed***, if 0, default is 20.

P5: Sorting order for P1; allowable values are: 1 (SortAscending-oldest first) or 2 (SortDescending-newest first), no blank is allowed***, if 0, default is 2.

P6: ???

P7: ???

*** if this parameter is blank, the list returns no rows.

Thanks for any help!

Cheers,
Christos
