Dummy Guide for those coming from Yahoo

Now that I have moved a couple of groups from Yahoo to G.IO as people are calling it, has anyone seen a "Dummy's guide" for those who are "technology challenged" in my groups?? I know that the group help is very good, and I am pointing people there, but still thought I would ask.

Re: "Average Pace" of transfers
While it may look attractive to pay the extra $200 for expedited transfer, I can't help but feel this is similar to 'priority boarding' at airports.
If we all paid the $200, the process would work at exactly the same speed and no-one would get their transfer done any faster. I'm happy to be at stage 3, knowing that the content of the Y! group has been downloaded and is safe. I can wait for the IO group to be up and running. |
