Re: Premium good for more than one group?

No...with caveats.

The premium upgrade is good for ONE PRIMARY group. You can transfer others into subgroups of that group, if it makes sense (e.g.: for use by a board of directors, or a committee, etc.). Note that every member of a subgroup must also be a member of the primary group.

See?/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Why-use-a-Subgroup? ?I don't recommend this as a way to collect unrelated groups, as subscriber management could become very unwieldy.?

Premium good for more than one group?

Question on this.

I already upgraded to premium when it was $110/yr. So, I already have a transfer going for the group that I'm the owner of. It was my impression that the premium upgrade was per group. Now it occurs to me that it may be for more than that. First question is: Is my premium upgrade good for more than one group? If the answer is 'yes', I'll have more questions.

Thanks,

Dave

The badges are to the right of the email address, not next to the name.

The closest you can get is to delete entire topics, but still one at a time.

Raymond -- Are you trying to make yourself an Owner? You can't do that unless you're already a Moderator with special privileges.?

The only other reason I can think of that it wouldn't work is because you didn't scroll down and click on Save as instructed.

Bruce

Go to Admin>Members, find and click open their subscriber record, then pull down the Role menu. Be sure to Save when done.

How do I "give the go ahead" to begin the transfer...?
Tracy -- If the Expedite button is active, you must have already given the go-ahead.

Is there any text on that same page discussing at what Stage you are in the transfer queue?

As you should be able to imagine, they're extremely busy.? You'll need to allow time for the process to work.

I'm not sure what instructions you're referring to.? The ones listed at /g/GroupManagersForum/message/19673 are correct and will result in a successful transfer when followed exactly.

I've changed the subdomain name of my parent group (e.g., from to ). I have multiple YG to G.io transfers in process, from YG to a series of subgroups. Will this change impact the transfer?
Yusuf -- I don't know. Have you checked each of your transfer status pages to make sure the mappings are still correct?

It strikes me as?really inadvisable?to make changes like this after you've already given the go-ahead.?

I have paid $930 for 3 groups to transfer, no one from Groups.IO is replying.

This is really bad for me.

It seems to me that it would have had to be that way on the YG or you used the wrong destination on some of your transfer requests.? No one here works for GIO, so support is the answer.

How do I give the go ahead?

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

All,

My apologies if this has been asked an answered, but I can't find the answer, and the "simple" instructions are about as clear as mud.??

I have made the [email protected] user a moderator of my Yahoo group.? The instructions say after I do that to go back to the transfer page and "give the go ahead to start the transfer."? But, when I click on the existing transfer status there is nowhere to "give the go ahead." and no way to do anything except expedite or delete the transfer.??

How do I "give the go ahead" to begin the transfer...?

Thank you,??

Tracy Tucker
