I found the process to be pretty smooth after the invite to join the group was accepted. I bet things are pretty slammed with Yahoo's recent announcement declaring an end date for their groups. FWIW

I think it might depend on how you're downloading.? Apparently YG has a limit on the traffic for each group.? If you're using the Dashboard to ask for a download, it shouldn't make any difference.?

I see that the default setting (or at least our group's default setting) is to NOT show the original message when someone replies. In many cases this is desirable so we don't get crazy long threads.
