Unfortunately, you cannot download a list of all 10,000 members...Yahoo won't let you. So you are left with using the groups.io transfer mechanism or...yes...asking everyone to abandon the old group

Glenn -- I, for one, think that makes perfect sense. You already have Direct Add capability anyway, so I see no advantage whatsoever in waiting for Mark to do something that you can do for yourself.
