Re: Transferring a YahooGroup of 14,500 members
Hi Lena and all, I think a better approach would be to transfer everything and then transfer the last few messages in a batch. I raised a suggestion to that effect on the beta group, but I haven't

Re: Transferring a YahooGroup of 14,500 members
Is it really true that 'any messages posted to the io group will be erased' in this situation? I was not aware of that and I don't think that's correct. J Sent from my iPhone

Re: can't find log of owner messages to a member - where are they logged?
They're not logged, only sent to you if you use Bcc: It's been discussed in several threads on beta@ and is on the TODO list. It will probably come as part of the Notifications Overhaul, but may be

can't find log of owner messages to a member - where are they logged?
Does anyone know where a "send message" owner message to a group member is logged? A couple of them I sent yesterday are not in "owner messages," they're not in the group message activity or moderator

Re: Transfer of files Qu from yahoo
Noel, I meant public in the stricter sense that anyone can read the messages, without joining. I don't know whether the DMCA (or a lawyer arguing about it) considers those effectively the same. Which

Our group also would love to be able to monitor what certain members upload. Most members get that we are paying for space but others upload far too many useless (to us) photos. We get around that in
