They can always go to the message section of your group to see how many messages were sent on that day. That is where the digests bring you anyway. They can read the messages from the group's message

Just FWIW . . . Another option is for a member who is a 'disturber' to have his posting privileges set to 'Moderated' status or to 'No Post' status as a means to control any undesirable disturbance

You can ban an email address, and Premium/Enterprise groups can ban entire domains. Banning an IP address is not an available feature. See

Are hashtags case sensitive?
We have an admin-created hashtag of #pool (current hot topic in 55+ community whether to allow grandkids unlimited use -- oh boy). Member says that when someone posted with #Pool that it didn't Mute.
